Dubai Industrial City: Logistics Hub of the Year

A well-planned infrastructure, advanced communications, and a location close to airports and seaports, are the obvious reasons the Dubai Industrial City has been recognised as the ideal logistics hub at the seventh annual Supply Chain and Transport Awards (SCATA). All these, plus being able to meet energy requirements and ease of processing for operating and licensing, help to meet the industrial and logistic needs of companies. 

The hub – the second largest industrial real estate venture in the city – is located adjacent to the Al Maktoum International Airport (Dubai World Central) and is about 28 km away from Jebel Ali Free Zone. Moreover it offers direct connection to Emirates Road, Dubai By Pass Road, completing access via land, air and sea.

Organised by ITP Publishing, the SCATA event was held at Jumeirah Emirates Hotel in Dubai on 24 April. It recognises achievements in the logistics sea freight and air cargo sectors.
