REIGATE, Surrey, UK – DuPont Nutrition & Health announced today a global price increase of its GRINDSTED? hydrocolloid range from the DuPont? Danisco? ingredient portfolio, effective November 1, 2012, or when contracts are renewed.
DuPont Nutrition & Health is particularly focused on achieving productivity and cost reductions, but these have unfortunately not been able to compensate for significant increases in raw material, energy and fuel costs seen across its hydrocolloid range.
With all the DuPont hydrocolloid plants being BRC certified (British Retail Certification), the company continues to strive for the highest food safety standards. Inauguration of expansions in 2012 also show the company’s continued commitment to add capital into its facilities to ensure the long-term supply of the highest quality products and cost-effective solutions for its customers.
