Ea-Sun chief on higher accuracy and productivity

Ms. Christine Wang is the Chairman of Ea-Sun Precision Technology Corporation.  Her company is the agent for Makino. In the stamping industry, time can be critical.  Makino’s wire electrical discharge machine U3, with 3 umRz/3 pass cuts faster than other technologies. The mechanical structure of the machines also assures that movements between details will be accurate anywhere within the work envelope. This combination of speed, finish, and repeatability will help increase productivity.

Makino’s Taper Compensation Function facilitates more accurate taper machining up to eight different taper angles.  Split compensation and land compensation can be used to further improve the accuracy.  The compensation amount can also be easily calibrated by using dial indicator.  This eliminates the need to remove the job for measurement.  The results are time saving and more effective machine usage.

The Makino N2 is a small horizontal machining center.  It can improve the productivity of aluminum die cast small parts.  Machine size (W x D x H) is 1150 x 2000 x 2150mm. Travel (X, Y, Z, B axis) is 300mm, 300mm, 230mm, 360 deg (continuous rotation).  It has reliable chip removal.  Chips falling on the inclined surface around the table are evacuated out of the machine by coolant.  The N2 has an optional specification for five-axis i.e. the N2-5XA.
