Eastman Chemical Company is announcing price increases

Effective April 1, 2013, Eastman Chemical Company is announcing the following price increases:

Santoflex^TM 6PPD : Off-list price increase of $USD 0.20/kg in North America, and Latin America.

Santoflex^TM 6PPD: Off-list price increase of €EUR 0.15/kg (€EUR 150/T) in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Santoflex^TM 6PPD: Off-list price increase of $USD 0.30/kg in Asia Pacific.

This increase is particularly focused on the increased raw material cost due to a structural change in the supply of Benzene and its derivatives. Increased pricing is necessary to reverse a portion of the margin compression the product line has incurred in recent years and to maintain the long term viability of the business.
