Ecuador flexes muscle in UAE

Pro Ecuador, the organisation promoting trade and investment in Ecuador, has opened an office in Port Saeed (Dubai). The new site in the United Arab Emirates is the 33^rd for the company, which has offices in North America, Europe, Russia, Africa, Asia and Australia.

With the addition of the Dubai office, Ecuador expects to strengthen its presence in various regions, including Middle East, North Africa and South Asia. The firm was present at the recent Gulfood show.

From 2009 to 2011, exports from Ecuador to the UAE posted growth by 87.6%.
