Edale delivers servo-driven press to Jeddah customer

Halwani Bros Company is one of the best-known food manufacturers in the Middle East, achieving large growth year-on-year in food production as well as in packaging. Their focus on packaging has required more sophisticated equipment to aid with production.

When Halwani moved into a new factory in 2011, it decided to purchase an Edale Gamma to add to its existing E430 press, an Edale model which is still up and running 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The Gamma is Edale’s fully servo-driven printing and converting system combines fine print quality with innovative features. The system has servo drives on each print head providing pre-register, auto-register and print length control features which, when combined with the revolutionary print head design, guarantees that job change times and setup wastage are kept to a minimum.

One of the few companies that still manufacture in the UK, Edale Ltd produces narrow web printing and converting presses at their head office in Hampshire. It specialises in flexographic printing, digital printing, commercial security and converting solutions.
