Emerson Industrial Automation, a business of Emerson (NYSE: EMR), announced today Edward Whipple, material handling specialist of its Power Transmission Solutions business unit, will speak at the Aggregates Forum and Expo (AGG1) March 19–21 in San Antonio. Whipple will co-present with Jeremy Chessell, Lafarge, "Maximizing Conveyor Component Efficiency" on Tuesday, March 19 at 2 p.m. Attendees at the presentation will learn how to improve bearing, gearing and drive performance by reviewing the common practices that cause conveying components to not achieve their expected life.
Located in booth #2611, Emerson will showcase the time-tested brands that help businesses in the construction-aggregates industries solve the downtime issues that puzzle them, including Sealmaster? mounted spherical roller bearings and Browning? shaft mount reducers. In addition, the booth will feature the following special activities and demonstrations:
AnimatedAnimated Solutions Quarry — this fully functioning, working demonstration will feature a Browning helical shaft mount speed reducer, Sealmaster mounted ball bearings and Browning belt drives.
Sealmaster? Challenge — register for the Sealmaster Challenge, which showcases Sealmaster performance mounted bearings that can help reduce downtime in harsh environments. If Sealmaster bearings do not exceed the life of any competitive bearing in the same application, we will buy it back from you at DOUBLE your purchase price (certain restrictions apply). If you are unable to attend AGG1, you can still register for the Sealmaster Challenge by visiting http://www.emersonindustrial.com/en-us/powertransmissionsolutions/brands/sealmaster/sealmaster-challenge/Pages/sealmaster-challenge.aspx.
