Witte offers these plates also in modular versions giving users the option of plugging several modular plates together to create a larger surface area. Grid type chucks can form the basis of starter sets or after appropriate preparation can also be used as a base plate for zero point clamping systems, on which special custom built or standard adapter plates for other vacuum systems like Vac-Mat or slot type can be mounted. Grid type chucks provide various combination options regarding grid size or layout.
