Elif invests in pre-made bag and pouch lines, boosting its capacity for new stand-up pouches, quad seal bags, and flat bottom bags by 50%  

Flexible packaging supplier Elif will offer products with new and advanced features following its investment in pre-made bag and pouch lines. Production capacity for stand-up pouches, quad seal bags, and flat bottom bags is expected to increase 50%, the company said.

Pre-made bags are the packaging choice for brand owners who are not keen in investing in automated packing, and who also prefer eco-friendly and cost-efficient packaging. Elif’s pre-made bag portfolio includes packaging with zippers or sliders, different handle designs, as well as an option for spout for liquid products.

Recyclable products

In 2016, Elif completed R&D on its recyclable PE pre-made bag solution. With Europe is biggest market, Elife products are being developed to support the new recycling goal of the EU Commission which aims for all packaging to be recyclable by the year 2030. Products that comply with the EU Commission's super-ordinate recycling targets include ElifHyPEr, Elif2Pouch, Elif2Twist and Elif2Label. Aside from Europe, Elif which is based in Turkey, exports to 50 countries worldwide.
