ElifHybr: Hybrid printing technology

THE ElifHybr uses an electron beam curing system along with different printing technologies. This technology can help manufacturers improve market entry speed of packing average by 50-70 percent, which is an advantage during printing preparation and installation.

The technology allows differentiation of product designs on packages by taking into account personal, regional and similar purposes and objectives of companies. It also enables printing of desired design on different packaging films regardless of thickness of film and color.

According to Elif, its new printing solution offers customers overall high print quality and cost and energy savings. It economizes energy by 65 percent thanks to the curing process, and reduces ink consumption by 60 percent. The drying process and non-solvent printing use less energy; the curing process and special inks used form less VOCs (volatile organic compounds), all of which contribute to a reduction of 75 percent in carbon footprint.

ElifHybr was among the championship finalists in the Crescent and Stars of Packaging Competition organized by Packaging Manufacturers Association (ASD- Ambalaj Sanayicileri Derneği), and also competed in AsiaStar and WorldStar contests.
