Emissions-neutral office building opens in India

The opening ceremony of Bayer’s first emissions-neutral office building in Asia

Early this year, the first emissions-neutral office building in Asia opened. The Bayer MaterialScience’s building in Greater Noida, near New Delhi draws 100% of its electricity from a photovoltaic plant whilst needing some 50% less power than comparable buildings in the region. The project forms part of Bayer’s EcoCommercial Building (ECB) programme, a specialist global network for sustainable construction.
