The new product from Alex-Tech , the VT-70A turning center can be used to produce wind power components, such as blades , gearboxes and other processing needs of key equipment. It features: Rigid Meehanite cast iron bed construction of heavy-duty VT-70A Viper turning centers provides centers ultimate accuracy and trustworthy reliability. Viper’s heat treatment dispenses the release of residual stress and ensures longevity of operation. Built and individualized for large parts production, standard features of this turning center series are A2-15 / 10.43” (265mm) through hole headstock. With one-piece Meehanite frames , bed lengths of our big-four series are 109.8” (2790mm), 149.2” (3790mm) , 188.5” (4790mm) and 228.5” (5805mm).There are either static or 15 hp (30 min) , 3200 rpm VDI 60 , heavy milling live Viper’s 45° slant bed design with intergrated ribbed torque tube structure provides exceptional heavy cutting stability and optimal chip removal. Z-axis travels available are 39.37” (1000mm) , 78.74” (2000mm) , 118.11” (3000mm) and 157.48” (4000mm). VT-70 with a rear chuck splash guard that can more convenient for loading / un loading of the workpiece and exchanging the chuck.
