The EMO Hannover will be opening its doors from 16 to 21 September 2013. At the world’s premier trade fair for the metalworking sector, international manufacturers of production technology will under the keynote theme of “Intelligence in Production” be showcasing their products, solutions and services relating to metal as a material. On the other hand, Taiwanese metalworking players will display its machine tool developments during the show.

Large through-hole air chuck
The newest product of Autogrip is the large through-hole air chuck (AP). The AP has a very large through-hole for maximum use of the spindle’s capacity, and suitable for pipe machining. The Autogrip large through-hole air chuck is equipped with an integrated pneumatic cylinder. The force transmission is effected by the proven wedge hook system. With the patent air supply system, no rotary feed-throughs are necessary. Especially on machines without hydraulic cylinders, the Autogrip AP and the manual chucks can be easily exchanged. The pneumatic cylinder is filled with the air by the patent air supply system. The reached air pressure is maintained permanently through a non-return valve in the chuck. The advantages of Autogrip AP are: (1) Large through-hole power chuck with build in pneumatic cylinder. (2) Patent air supply system, easily and fast to install, without abrasion of sealed ring, reduce the cost of maintenance and installation.
