Enerpac introduces pneumatic torque wrenches

ENERPAC has recently announced its PTW-Series of pneumatic torque wrenches.

 

Designed for superior productivity yet safe and simple operation, the products deliver high-speed, continuous rotation, constant torque output, and reduced production downtime, far exceeding the performance of currently available similar hydraulic tools. They are ideal for bolting applications in mining, power generation, and oil and gas industries.

The tools feature a unique, low-friction planetary gearbox design that helps prolong equipment uptime. The low-vibration design also reduces operator fatigue, injury risks, and product wear even in the harshest environments. 

 

Tools in the PTW-Series have an easy-to-operate, trigger style handle featuring accessible tightening and loosening control to prevent risks caused by manual tightening. Their quiet air-controlled motor ensures continuous performance in both indoor and outdoor applications. A Filter-Regulator-Lubricator (FRL) guarantees operators have all necessary components for use.

 

The CE-certified pneumatic torque wrenches ship with a unique calibration certificate.  They come with custom arms and accessories to match diverse application requirements, including arms in various lengths, reaction arms for deep sockets, sliding arms for variable bolt pitches, and nose extensions for wheel bolts on off-road vehicles.
