Enerpac service personnel learning about fault diagnosis
The programme of training sessions – being undertaken in Singapore through to September this year – involves dozens of staff from Enerpac and its network of distributors across the region, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Taiwan, Mongolia, Pakistan, Myanmar and Indonesia.
The comprehensive training covers an extensive range of Enerpac high-pressure (700 bar, 10,000 psi) hydraulic products, including those used for lifting, shifting, positioning and for professional bolting applications. The global Enerpac range is used extensively by industries including building and construction; oil and gas, maintenance and fabrication, shipbuilding and metalworking, civil, mechanical, production and process engineering; energy production and reticulation; government utility; manufacturing and materials handling and workholding; mining and resources, and safety.
“Enerpac is already a global leader in service backup and technical support of its products to ensure optimum reliability, efficiency and elimination of downtime in the field. This new level of training will mean that there are more certified Enerpac repair technicians available throughout the region to serve our customers, which will further improve turnaround time, on-site capabilities and customer-responsiveness,” says Mr Joseph Wang, Enerpac Country Leader, South East Asia.

Enerpac recently expanded its distribution network to include Mongolia, West Malaysia, Vietnam and Myanmar, which in future will not have to send products back to Singapore for servicing but can handle them at their own facilities or on-site. “This extensive training will ensure each of these centres has certified Enerpac technical backup to handle service and repairs in-house and save on unnecessary costs, such as freight,” says Mr Wang.
Each training course extends from hydraulic, workshop and warehouse safety procedures as well as service centre essentials. Individual sections are then run on product categories, including cylinders, valves and pumps.
Enerpac markets one of the world’s most comprehensive ranges of high-pressure (700 bar, 10,000 psi) hydraulic cylinders, pumps and ancillaries.

Enerpac’s widely used professional bolting range – including advanced, safety oriented non-impact hydraulic tools – also comprises a comprehensive family of professional bolting technology all available from one source and all backed up by a sales and service network, which will be further enhanced by this training initiative.
Cylinders
Enerpac has one of the world’s most widely used compact, powerful and ruggedly versatile high-pressure cylinder ranges. Cylinders such as the RC Duo Series optimise extension capabilities while minimising retraction times to get jobs done faster and with outstanding reliability and safety. Enerpac cylinders are available for a huge range of industrial applications, including lifting, pushing and pulling and are available in a range of force capacities, stroke lengths or size restrictions.
Cylinders are one of the most commonly used products in lifting applications. Enerpac’s expert technicians can help recommend which cylinder configuration best suits a particular application.
Pumps
Electric: Enerpac’s wide range of electric hydraulic pumps provide durability, high performance and economy. Using the latest metallurgical, bearing and seal technologies to produce a more rugged and safe hydraulic electric pump.
Air: Enerpac air hydraulic pumps are designed for high efficiency, proven reliability and enhanced productivity. High pressure hydraulic air driven pumps are ideal for delivering compact air over hydraulic. Constructed for safety, durability and the delivery of higher oil flow, these hydraulic power units provide high quality performance, as well as fine metering capabilities for precise control.
Manual: Enerpac's manual pump line features high pressure hydraulic hand and foot pumps designed for portability, durability and easy-of-use. A large selection of hydraulic hand pumps makes it easy to find the most effective compact high pressure pump. The manual hand and foot pump line is also equipped with numerous safety features to provide dependable performance, while maintaining worker safety.
Enerpac pumps are applicable to a broad range of industries and are designed to reliably provide hydraulic pressure to actuate tools being used to lift, shift and position components and structures.
Valves
Enerpac high pressure hydraulic valves are available in a wide variety of models and configurations and are designed to meet diverse requirements, including directional flow control, flow control, or pressure control. They are all designed and manufactured for safe operation up to 10,000 psi. The range of Enerpac high pressure hydraulic valves allows for direct pump mounting, remote mounting, manual or solenoid actuation, and in-line installation, giving flexible solutions to control any hydraulic system.
Valves are useful additions to hydraulic tools, to help the operator ensure the correct pressure and flow levels are being used as well as ensure the equipment is operating within its safe limits.
Bolting
Enerpac offers complete families of advanced bolting technologies to handle the toughest jobs dished out by industries such as construction, infrastructure, mining and energy, oil and gas; including powerful, precise and reliable non-impact fastening of API flanges
