ENGEL's former chief technology officer joins Yizumi

The appointment of former ENGEL chief technology officer, Hans Wobbe, to chief strategy officer at Guangdong Yizumi Precision Machinery Co. Ltd., has been hailed as Yizumi's move toward bigger markets beginning this year.

Mr. Wobbe is a known expert in the plastics machinery industry and occupied several major posts in such companies as Werner & Pfleiderer GmbH and KraussMaffei Kunststofftechnik GmbH. He held the position of chief technology office at ENGEL Holding GmbH, and was in charge of the development of ENGEL plants in Asia, Europe and North America. He resigned from ENGEL in 2010.  

At Yizumi, Mr. Wobbe will develop strategies to meet the company's objective of globalization. In his new post, he will lead the development of innovative technologies as well as the technical centers in Asia, particularly China, and Germany.
