Enmore hosts Green Polyurethane Industry Technical Seminar 2015

ENMORE is conducting the Green Polyurethane Industry Technical Seminar 2015 in Xiamen, China on March 20.

The event will focus on the application of waterborne/solvent-free/TPU technology and biomass raw materials in the fields of synthetic leather, coatings, and adhesives. It will gather the world's top green PU resin manufacturers, major synthetic leather, coatings, and adhesives enterprises, and suppliers of PU raw materials, bio-based polyols, and special isocyanate. It will also host senior technical research institutions and colleges both locally and overseas, and clothing, footwear, healthcare, and other end users.

The PU industry has been expanding rapidly in recent years. PU is one of the six most popular synthetic materials, and the Asia-Pacific is becoming the world's largest PU market.

The fast growth of the industry, however, creates a serious pollution problem and the need for “Green PU Industrialization.” But even with rising interest in green PU products, many companies face technical barriers, higher raw material costs, and other production problems.

The confirmed speakers for the event include Nick Smith, vice president and global head of Textiles, Bayer MaterialScience, who will discuss “INSQIN and the Emerging New Generation of Waterborne PU Leather,” and Dr. Eugene Deng of the Shoemaking Innovation Team of Great Eastern Resins Industrial Co. Ltd, who will talk about “Single-component Waterborne PU Adhesive.”

Xie Zhenming, head of Research Institute at Lishui Xinke Ecological Synthetic Leather Research Institute, will discuss the “Latest Trends of Waterborne Synthetic Leather, Waterborne/Solvent-free/TPU Technology Performance and Products Comparison.” Zhao Youzhong, head of PU R&D Department at Shanghai Kangda Chemical New Materials Co. Ltd, will tackle the “Application of Solvent-free PU Adhesives in Flexible Packaging, Footwear, Automobile, Timber and Wind Power Industries.”

The 12th Polyurethane Industry Summit will be held concurrently with the seminar. The summit will gather together 200 attendees to explore the PU industry and green technology development.
Attendees to the events may also join factory visit and Indian footwear industry investigation, both of which are open for registration.
