Environmental award goes to averda

ABU DHABI -- averda, the largest environmental solutions provider in the MENA region, was announced as the winner of the Frost & Sullivan Excellence Awards for Excellence in M&A Strategy for Year 2011 in the Middle East Waste Management Market Segment.

The award plaque was received by averda Corporate Affairs director Nasser Bakkar at the recently held Environment Awards Night as part of the 2012 Middle East Environment Industry Meet. “It is an honour to receive this award, which is truly a testament to the success of our growth strategy in the Middle East. averda has developed in leaps and bounds to better serve the region on its journey to further prosperity,” said Mr Bakkar.

The Frost & Sullivan Environment Excellence Awards recognise the inspiring and exemplary achievements of companies operating in the Environment Industry. Winners of the Excellence Awards are chosen through comprehensive research programmes that identify best practices with select segments.
