When deferred electromagnets arrive at the state-of-the-art 5-Star Service Center in Erie, PA, Eriez’ staff of trained technicians quickly disassembles the equipment and diagnoses problems. For a typical suspended electromagnet rebuild job, the Eriez 5-Star team starts by inspecting the box, core and tanks. Next, the coils, oil and faceplate are replaced. Finally, new rectifiers, motors and components are installed.
