ESI acquires Topwin Optoelectronics

ELECTRO Scientific Industries Inc. (Nasdaq: ESIO) has completed the acquisition of Topwin Optoelectronics, a Wuhan, China-based innovative laser design and manufacturing systems company.

 

The acquisition will boost ESI’s ability to design, build, and sell into the China market, allowing the company to penetrate the country’s growing industry for laser microfabrication tools.
