A Flipboard magazine-the Estee Lauder Beauty Book is created by Estee Lauder partnering with Hearst Magazines Digital Media and the communications agency OMD. The digital magazine can be accessed through a Flipboard App. The Estee Lauder Beauty Book was created to communicate with consumers in a new way, and highlight the science behind its Advanced Night Repair. It contains full-page ads (one of which is shown) for it the product throughout the digital publication, along with links to positive product reviews featured on several blogs.
In addition, editorial staff members from Harper's Bazaar, Elle, and Marie Claire have created fashion, beauty, health and lifestyle content to the digital publication.
“Flipboard is an incredibly creative platform for engaging, entertaining and informing women who are interested in beauty and fashion" said, Gustavo Andriani, vice president, North America Marketing, Estee Lauder.
The Estée Lauder Beauty Book is one of several brand magazines launched by Flipboard. Other brands with publications include GE, Capitol One, Lexus and Maybelline.
