In collaborating with dermatologists to develop its improved formulations, Beiersdorf is relaunching Eucerin's sun care line, "sunface." This line is said now to contain DNA protection, for biological protection from within, according to the brand.
The formula combines highest UVB/UVA protection plus cell protection to prevent premature skin aging and pigmentation spots. Scientific in-vivo studies conducted by Beiersdorf confirmed that the formula's Glycyrrhetenic Acid, a natural active ingredient, strengthens the skin’s own DNA repair mechanisms.
The products also contain Licochalcone A, which acts as a powerful antioxidant to protect skin cells against sun induced damage caused by free radicals - giving the skin a greater ability to stay healthy.
