EVOLUTION blown film technology proved its benefits in Thailand

To showcase how the EVOLUTION extrusion technology leads to superior packaging films in combination with advanced resin and processing know-how, Reifenh?user Singapore conducted the first Asia Barrier Summit and Advanced Film Open House in Thailand on March 22 and 23, 2013. 

The event was held in partnership with Plastissimo, a longstanding Reifenh?user Kiefel Extrusion customer with four blown film machines, and the resin suppliers Mitsui, Kuraray and BASF.

60 participants from six Asian countries took part. Visitors were able to witness the production of advanced 5- and 9-layer packaging and barrier films on Reifenh?user Kiefel Extrusion EVOLUTION lines. 

Juergen Rehkopf, Managing Director of Reifenh?user Singapore says: "The success of the event was overwhelming. The lines demonstrated their extraordinary flexibility and superior performance. In purging and product changeover the EVOLUTION technology is setting standards for the industry."

The event was complemented by a one-day conference with lively networking sessions and lectures conducted by the partnering resin suppliers and Reifenh?user. Due to the high interest generated by customers and the positive feedback from the participants, Reifenh?user Singapore is planning similar focused events in short order.
