Evonik unveils beauty innovations at in-cosmetics Asia

At in-cosmetics Asia 2013, Evonik’s Personal Care Business Line will display its most advanced products and novelties (booth no. G 10). 

Visitors will have the chance to find out more about the products from Evonik’s Personal Care Business Line, like the PEG-free W/O emulsifier ABIL? EM 120 which is suitable for stabilizing pigment-containing emulsions and color trueness of foundations when applied on skin. TEGO? Care PBS 6, a versatile PEG-free O/W emulsifier, provides emulsification stability of sun care formulations containing a high load of water soluble UV filter. Innovative actives like TEGO? Stemlastin contribute to a youthful skin appearance. Other product highlights include the plant extract TEGO? Cistus, an active ingredient which provides daylight defense with its effective photo protection.

The performance additive TEGO? Carbomer 841 SER, a novel cross-linked polyacrylic acid copolymer designed to control the rheology of surfactant systems, offers high clarity and a synergistic thickening with salt. Completing the innovative portfolio of Evonik’s Personal Care Business Line, ABIL? Soft AF 200 and ABIL? Soft AF 300, two new aminosilicones using advanced manufacturing technology, ensure excellent hair conditioning, superior feel, softness and smoothness.

In addition to its booth presence, Evonik will highlight the benefits of high performance emulsifiers for challenging fluid emulsions and of actives for advanced skin protection against environmental stresses. These topics will be presented at the Innovation Seminar Theater on October 29th and 30th at 3.00pm.

To better serve the personal care industry in Asia, Evonik is stepping up its regional production capacities with a new organics production facility in Shanghai which has just opened on October 28th this year. Also, Evonik recently expanded its plant in Indonesia for premium raw materials, additives and ingredients.
