Expanded ProPak Asia in 2016

WHEN ProPak Asia returns next year, visitors will see a bigger and more structured exhibition as organizers consider the growing number of participants across all industries covered by the event. New halls at the venue, BITEC will be opened to accommodate a projected larger turnout in succeeding editions.

There is demand for exhibitor space, organizers said, taking note of requests being made by companies onsite. Several exhibitors already signified their intent to book for the next show dates, while others have been applying for larger booth space.

Visitor attendance is also growing every year. On the first day of the 2015 edition, attendance was higher by19% compared to the year before, according to show reports. The number of international visitors has also increased by 11%. Some1,600 exhibitors from 44 countries made it to the event held from 17-20 June.

All these are indicators of Thailand’s strong food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries, and ProPak Asia’s ability to bring together the world’s suppliers to the four-day event.

“Thailand is the largest food exporter in Southeast Asia and leading in many areas of food and drink production. This drives demand for more and higher value processing and packaging and ProPak Asia supports industry by presenting the best and latest technology and services from across the world,” Thailand’s Vice-Minister for Industry H.E. Mr Pramode Vidtayasuk said at the trade show opening.

Companies like SACMI, Agilent, Busch Vacuum, Clearpack, Flowcrete, Gebo Cermex, and Forbo Siegling are just some exhibitors that have already set up shop in Thailand in order to be closer to customers in Thailand and within the region.

ProPak Asia, organized by the Bangkok Exhibitions Services Ltd (BES), returns to the stage on 15-18 June 2016. It will continue to deliver trends and developments covering the six zones namely DrinkTechAsia, FoodTechAsia, Lab&Test Asia, PackagingMaterialsAsia, PharmaTechAsia, and PrinTechAsia.
