FARO to hold 3D User Conferences in Asia Pacific

SINGAPORE – FARO Technologies, Inc. is holding a new series of FARO 3D User Conferences for Asia Pacific. After the successful inaugural edition last year, the 3D Documentation Conference series will be held between July and December in 5 different countries across Asia Pacific – Australia, China, India, Indonesia, and Thailand.  With more dates and locations to choose from, a larger group of the 3D User Community in the region can benefit from the vibrant discussions at these exclusive knowledge-exchange platforms.

Participants can hear from professionals, industry experts, and solution partners, who will share about the capabilities and potential of the 3D terrestrial laser scanning technology. Case studies of successful implementation will also be presented. Topics to be covered would relate to such sectors as aerospace, architecture engineering and construction (AEC), automotive, energy and natural resources, entertainment, heritage, law enforcement, process power and piping, and shipping.

FARO hopes that this series of 3D User Conferences will encourage more cross-vertical interactions amongst 3D laser scanning communities through active participation of speakers and delegates. Consequently, these networking opportunities should lead to industry integration and cooperation, realizing the conference theme of ‘Connecting 3D Communities.’
