| FASTECHNOLOGY Group is promoting its PACKprint packaging solution at this year’s PLMA Store Brands Trade show, which will run from November 16 to 18 in Chicago. The reality-themed trade event will highlight private labels and technologies. The scannable product for individual packaging prints a veritable DNA code of the product on the package itself, which then captures information throughout the supply chain, including data innovative per package/carton/pallet retailer programming, food origination and journey, package-specific ingredient and manufacturing details such as personalized allergy warnings, and line-specific data points. The PACKprint will allow private labels to leverage information important to manufacturers, distributors, and consumers. For manufacturers and distributors, the PACKprint facilitates key information verification without the use of additional labeling, resource-intensive manual sorting, or expensive auditing. They can also use the PACKprint to trace and/or recall products, provide additional product details, eliminate messy and costly labels, enhance shopper engagement, and launch highly targeted marketing campaigns. Meanwhile, with the PACKprint consumers can obtain data that can provide key insights for purchasing decisions. FASTechnology will hold demonstrations of this product at its booth #2100 during the three-day PLMA's Store Brands Reality Trade Show at the Rosemont Convention Center in Chicago. These will cover the product’s use in beverages, snack foods, meat, and bakery. | ![]() |
