F&B clusters to be developed in Lebanon

WITH an investment of about $56 million, the development and consulting firm, Venture Group will start a series of F&B cluster projects in Jounieh, Jbeil, and Ramlet el Bayda. To date, the design phase for the three projects is complete, and the projects will be ready by 2019.

In Jounieh, the company will invest $16 million in a 4,000-square-meter building with nine floors for a hypermarket, a superstore, a gym, cafés, restaurants and bars, and a parking lot.

According to Rabih Saba, Managing Partner at Venture, they are negotiating with international brands for the restaurants and cafes, although as early as now, there are no contracts signed yet.

In Jbeil, the building will be erected on a 34,000 square meter area in the northbound side of the North Highway. It will have space for retail and full recreational facilities consisting of 12 outlets that include restaurants, cafés, outdoor space, a gym, and a ten-screen cinema complex. Designed by C-Lab Architects, investment is estimated at $25 million.

The company will allocate $15 million for the Ramlet El Bayda project, which will feature a contemporary design with a full sea view and include F&B outlets, a gym, and football and tennis courts, all in a 10,000 square-meter-area.  - businessnews.com.lb as reported by Rania Ghanem
