FHW Franz Haas Waffelmaschinen GmbH and Patreider SRL have officially signed a merger contract that brings together their expertise in cutting solutions, and feeding systems for packaging machines and handling systems.

With the new undertaking, Mr Thomas Patreider will be part of the board to contribute his experience and knowledge to the successful Haas brand. He will assume an active role in the FHW Franz Haas Waffelmaschinen GmbH team and give the company a tremendous advantage in terms of innovation.

Haas's wafer production systems offered worldwide include the wafer cutter, which gives the products their characteristic shape, and the feed to the follow-up processes. The company has been designing and producing proprietary solutions for an extremely wide range of customer requirements.

Acquiring Patreider SRL and its expertise enables Haas to now offer its customers even more innovative solutions in the area of cutting and flexible feed systems for packaging machines and product handling.

Patreider’s cutters feature an exceptionally high cutting speed and precision, which ensures consistent product quality. The wafers are given the most gentle treatment possible in the innovative and flexible feed systems, which provide consistently high-quality transportation of the wafers to the packaging area.

All existing customers will continue to be served, and customers currently awaiting quotations will find their business partner in FHW Franz Haas Waffelmaschinen GmbH.
