Allworld Exhibitions and UBM announced the creation of a one-stop purchasing platform for the Chinese food & beverage industry. In July 2018, Food ingredients Asia-China (FiAC) and ProPak China (ProPak) will be co-located at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC).
Merging these exhibitions will bring together food ingredients as well as food processing and packaging solutions under one roof, and cover over 75,000 sqm across six halls at SNIEC. This new platform – the only kind in China – is expected to attract 27,000 professional visitors from home and abroad.
Attendees will find special zones onsite for dairy products, beverages, starch and other ingredients. The event will hold a variety of educational programs and other innovative features that will inspire new ideas for business development.
The Chinese food market will be valued at RMB 11.35 trillion in 2018. It will continue to grow given the huge demand from a population of 1.4 billion, coupled with growing desire for quicker and safer food.
