Filtermist appoints distributor in Viet Nam

UK-BASED oil mist removal specialist, Filtermist, has recently expanded its network of global distributors with the appointment of Hanoi-based SOS Environment as its distributor in Viet Nam.

SOS Environment specialises in Environmental Pollution control and felt that the Filtermist units would be an excellent addition to its existing product range.

The appointment is in line with Filtermist strategy to expand its business in the region, Filtermist International managing director, James Stansfield, said. “We recently restructured our business in the ASEAN region with the establishment of Filtermist Asia Pte Ltd and the appointment of Business Development manager, Desmond Teo,” he said, adding the one of Mr Teo’s first tasks was to identify potential distributors for Filtermist products throughout the region.

Viet Nam is one 20 ‘high-growth markets’ identified by UK Trade and Industry (UKTI) as offering significant potential for UK businesses. A recent report highlighted a number of priority sectors including Advanced Engineering, stating that “Vietnam has the 3rd fastest growing aviation market in the world”.

Aerospace manufacturing is a market where Filtermist already has significant experience; the opportunities available, coupled with those in other high-growth manufacturing sectors, offer Filtermist an excellent chance to increase its market share in the ASEAN region.

SOS Environment joins the ‘Filtermist family’ of global distributors that currently sell units into more than 60 countries around the World.
