Foldable electric wheelchair at Abilities Expo 2014

KD Smart Chair will showcase its 50-pound foldable electric wheelchair at the Abilities Expo, which will run from November 21 to 23 at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center.

Lightweight, compact and foldable mobility device

The most convenient electric wheelchair on the market, the KD Smart Chair has a durable aluminum alloy frame capable of supporting up to 265 pounds and can travel up to 15 miles on Lithium-ion batteries. The compact, FDA-cleared mobility device has an adjustable arm rest and joystick, and can be folded within seconds, making it easy to use even when travelling by car, bus, train, or cruise ship.  

Abilities Expo, which has been the main source for people with disabilities, seniors, veterans, and healthcare professionals for more than 30 years, provides insight into new solutions, technologies, and opportunities toward changing and improving lives. Besides seeing for the first time new products and technologies, the event includes workshops, exhibits, music, dance, sports, face painting, celebrities, therapy horses, and assistance dogs, making it an exciting event for the families and friends. 

KD Smart Chair will be attending the Abilities Expo for the first time this year, according to vice president Roland Reznik.
