Foreign companies set sight on lucrative GCC market(one)

 As a reflection of the recovery of the global market for plastics and rubber industry and the confidence of the international community on the Gulf region, ArabPlast 2011 will be 25% bigger this year with record number of exhibitors. Nine halls of the show''s venue, the Dubai World Trade Center, are booked by both local and foreign companies as the show retains its unique position as Middle East''s No 1 event for rubber, plastics and plastic processing. Foreign companies who view the Gulf region as a lucrative market are present as they believe that the region''s manufacturing and construction industries are expected to boost demand for their products.

From outside the region, companies from Taiwan, United States, Canada, Italy, Germany, Hong Kong, Mainland China, Switzerland, Spain and India, amongst others, come in full force to seal the show''s emergence as a truly world-class event. Concurrent event, Tekno Tube 2011, also attracted foreign exhibitors. For instance, the Free State of Bavaria has its booth represented by eight companies. These companies are known for their innovative strength and excellent quality of products - especially in the field of mechanical engineering.

On display at ArabPlast 2011 are new products and technologies in injection moulding, blow moulding, wrapping and packaging, pre and post plastic processing techniques as well as raw materials, such as masterbatches, additives and polymers. The show covers a wide spectrum of plastic machinery, plastic/rubber processing technology, pre and post-processing systems, plastic packaging technology, injection moulding, blow moulding, wrapping technology, extrusions, chemicals and additives, semi finished goods, engineering plastics and plastic products.
