Forum brings future into focus

TOP-LEVEL government, industry and business leaders will again converge at the Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre (BIECC) in Manama, on 8 February 2012 for the second Gulf Industry Forum (www.gulfindustryforum.com). 

Under the theme 'The Future is Industry', the forum expects to facilitate frank and open exchange of information, views and opinions on the long-term economic prosperity of the Gulf region. Topics include Powering Industrial Development; Developing SMEs; Market Innovation; and Creating Industrial and Manufacturing Businesses.

Amongst the speakers are HE Dr Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza, Minister of Petroleum and Energy, Kingdom of Bahrain; HE Shaikh Daij Al Khalifa, chairman of Bahrain Logistics Zone; Khalid Al Qadeeri, CEO, Foulath Steel; and Mahmood Daylami, general secretary, Gulf Aluminium Council (GAC).

Organised by Bahrain-based Hilal Conferences & Exhibitions (HCE) in association with North Star Associates, the Gulf Industry Forum is held alongside HCE's flagship trade show, Gulf Industry Fair, which will be held from 8 to 10 February 2012, also at the BIECC.
