Forwell: Effective warehouse management system

Established in 1987, Forwell Precision Machinery Co., Ltd. has been engaged in the production of quick die/mold change systems. The company’s various products have been benefiting the plastics industry. Mr. Xiao Wen Long, President of Forwell Precision Machinery Co., Ltd. shares with International Plastics News for Asia (IRNA) the company’s efforts to introduce new services for the fast-growing plastics industry.

IRNA:  Forwell has made many advances to improve quick mold /quick die systems, what are the latest ones and how do these differ from those available in the market today?
 
Mr. Xiao: “Produce wisely” is not just an idea any longer, it’s a goal. For high-end users, automatic production is not enough anymore. Forwell is expecting to release warehouse management system, to promote overall, fast and safe die / mold change system. Die cart is to link up traditional QDCS/QMCS on individual machine and warehouse management system could satisfy users management requirement.

IRNA: How does Forwell develop this latest product? What specific market trends does the company would like to meet with this recent development?  
 
Mr. Xiao: Developing warehouse management system aims to focus on high-end users, to solve the problem of manpower shortage. Forwell promotes the idea of “Smart Factory”, to reduce labor requirement and make our customers retain their high-end technical staff even under labor-cost pressure.

IRNA: In support of the plastics industry, how would you differentiate Forwell as a company and as a player in the plastics industry?
 
Mr. Xiao: Forwell has always been a key player, a coagent in the plastics industry. We keep progressing and improving our products’ functions by obtaining feedback from our customers. In this field, Forwell is not main character and never wants to be one. We identify ourselves as coaches or instructors, and assistant to our players – our customers – to win their games fast and with precision.  
 

Forwell has been enhancing its products to achieve the Smart Factory target.

IRNA: Forwell recently set up a facility in China please describe the facility and what would be the products that the company would turn out from this new facility?
 
Mr. Xiao: Forwell Precision Machinery Huaian aims to provide prompt service to users in North and Northeast China. It not only produces Forwell’s existing products but also plays the main role of warehouse management system mass production.
