The Fragrance Foundation Award Winners Announced

During its annual awards celebration last night, the Fragrance Foundation announced this year's winners.
Hundreds of fragrance industry executives gathered last night in Manhattan at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall for an event that paid tribute to outstanding achievements in juice, packaging, retailers, perfumers and media. The Fragrance Foundation Awards were formerly known as the FiFi Awards. 

This year’s winners for Best Packaging of the Year are Florabotanica by Balenciaga Paris (Coty Prestige; women) and Montblanc Legend (Interparfums Luxury Brand; men).

Florabotanica also walked away with the title of Fragrance of the Year: Women’s Luxury. Colonia Intensa Oud by Acqua di Parma received the men’s counterpart award.

Dot Marc Jacobs (Coty Prestige) hit the mark for Fragrance of the Year: Women’s Prestige, while the men’s award for the category went to Tom Ford Noir (Tom Ford Beauty, The Estee Lauder Companies).

Justin Bieber’s Girlfriend (Elizabeth Arden) captured both Fragrance of the Year: Women’s Popular and the women’s Consumer Choice Award.

Fragrance of the Year: Men’s Popular went to James Bond 007 (P&G Prestige Products).

The Men’s Consumer Choice Award was presented to Acqua di Gio Essenza.

Taylor Swift, who made an appearance in a magnificent sweeping white gown, accepted the award for Celebrity Fragrance of the Year.

Allure’s Linda Wells took home the 2013 Hall of Fame Award; she was the first editor to be honored by The Fragrance Foundation.

Firmenich’s Alberto Morillas was lauded as Perfumer of the Year-Lifetime Achievement Award for his development of an incredible number of successful scents.

Red Door by Elizabeth Arden was inducted into the Fragrance Hall of Fame.
