For the first time, France will be participating in PROPAK AFRICA 2013. A French Pavilion, to be set up by UBIFRANCE, will feature the products and services of 10 leading French companies. Amongst them, Cermex, a subsidiary of the Tetra Laval Group, is positioning itself as the technical, economic and ecological leader in end-of-line equipment. Following their 2012 acquisition of Newtec Case Palletising, experts in palletisation systems, Cermex has been consolidating its expertise in crating, shrink wrapping and palletisation.
In the packing and packaging sector, the French Pavilion will also host SERAC, which will present its filling and sealing machines.
PAKEA has succeeded over the past few years in rising amongst the top worldwide production equipment manufacturers in cardboard packaging and processing (tubes, mandrels, palletisers, cardboard tube cutters etc.)
Committed to sustainable development, the company LAGARDE will demonstrate the innovative “Steam-Air” autoclaves, which is said to reduce energy use by over 30% compared to other existing processes.
The French Pavilion will also feature DCM USIMECA, a manufacturer of processing machines for flexible packaging materials, 80% of which are exported worldwide, and HOLWEG WEBER, manufacturer of paper processing machines for making flat-base and square-base bags.
PACCOR? will showcase rigid and customised plastic packaging, whilst RICHARD-LALEU will introduce its packaging for dairy products and by-products.
The MASSILLY Group, with worldwide markets for metal packaging (sealing capsules, tin cans, aerosols, decorated boxes), is also amongst exhibitors.
