The 10th International Fresenius Conference scheduled from 27-28 October will tackle issues on food contaminants and residues as well as developments in EU legislation and risk assessment

THE 10th International Fresenius Conference will focus on some of the most problematic contaminants and residues that can get into food. The event takes place from 27 to 28 October 2015 in Cologne, Germany. It will also cover new developments in EU legislation and risk assessment.

The conference will be divided into five different topic areas and will feature presentations on the current situation in Germany and Europe; single contaminants such as mycotoxins, pyrrolizidine alkaloids, nickel, THC and chlorate; and on process contaminants. It will discuss aspects like the determination of MCPD and glycidyl esters in food or EFSA’s risk assessment on acrylamide.
