Plastics & Rubber
Frigel’s state-of-the-art process cooling technologies can save water and energy.
At Chinaplas, Frigel's booth (4.2P15) focuses on the company's state-of-the-art process cooling technologies—including the latest Microgel portable machine-side chiller with easy-to-use controls. These technologies can help companies save water and energy while improving productivity to give processors competitive advantage.

Frigel’s industry-leading closed-loop systems provide enhanced control with systems that are easily adaptable to processors’ climates, facilities and current processes. The technology offers substantial savings on water and energy, like the Ecodry 3DK, which helps companies reduce water consumption by as much as 95 percent while saving energy when compared to a conventional cooling tower system. Frigel’s systems deliver cooling water at precise temperatures for better part quality, less scrap and cycle time improvements.

On display at the booth will be the Microgel RCM40, featuring Frigel’s latest controls interface for the Microgel and Turbogel lines of products. The new controls offer an intuitive HMI to bring more precise control to processor’s Frigel systems. The next generation controller offers users extended functionality for monitoring and adjusting system parameters using real-time data to further enhance system performance.

Frigel has been a proven leader in advanced process cooling since the 1960s, with many of the world’s top manufacturers to turn to Frigel. Compared to traditional cooling tower systems, customers who opted for Frigel's cooling systems are able to achieve better results – in energy efficiency, water use, uptime and nearly every other measurement of increased productivity and cost savings. Frigel technologies have been greatly adopted over the last few years, benefitting customers throughout Asia Pacific.

“Frigel’s systems help processors in all climates save water and energy as these resources become scarcer,” said Marcus Sutch, Board Director, Frigel Firenze S.p.A. The company also works with customers to tailor solutions to their specific application and needs.

Also discussed at the show will be the status of Frigel’s new manufacturing facility in Bangkok, Thailand, which will focus on serving customers in the Asia Pacific market. The 9,000-square-meter (97,000-square-feet) manufacturing facility is expected to be fully operational in September 2015, as Frigel transitions to the new facility from its existing Bangkok plant this summer.

“The new plant allows us to continue to bring Frigel’s advanced process cooling technologies to the Asia Pacific market to help satisfy process cooling needs in the area,” said Benjamin Sutch, President of Sales for Frigel Asia Pacific. “Our plant will not only support these needs, but serves as an investment in the people and infrastructure of these markets by bringing manufacturing processes closer to home.”
