
YOGEN Früz, the world's largest frozen yoghurt chain based in Toronto, has further expanded its international franchise development and network of retail outlets. A master franchise partnership with the Arcology Investments, based in Dubai, will establish the brand identity through various retail shopping malls and outlets in what is now a very open and receptive market to this product. Arcology announced that the first Yogen Früz outlet will open shortly in Dubai, and the aim is to establish 30 similar outlets within the next four to five years throughout the GCC, including Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait. Javad Sahebkar, general manager of Arcology, said Yogen Früz fits into the modern Arabic culture, which is quickly opening to embrace western products that favour good health, nutrition and quality. This trend coupled with a usually hot sunny climate will mean the frozen yoghurt products will undoubtedly be well accepted in the Middle East region.
