AS a result, GANRO’s R&D team works side-by-side with onsite operators to ensure the manufacture of every single part including the table assembly of the rotary tables. As explained by Sales Department Representative Eric Kuo “Even a small screw will decide if a machine center can achieve the most cost-effective function.”
Since 1978, Golden Sun Industrial Co., Ltd, the predecessor of GANRO, believes in details matter when making rotary tables for the demanding market. With the advancement of technology, GANRO Industrial Corp. was established in 2008 in order to meet the high standard and demands from the global customers all over the world. The essence of pursuing perfection achieved by Golden Sun was passed on to GANRO as the successor of Golden Sun. Now, GANRO is proud of its full slate of solution successes coupled with technology and experience, innovating enhanced products.
IMNA: What are the advantages that make you different from your competitors?
Mr. Kuo: Our index tables are very important for multi-face machining, and for five-axis machine centers, especially on the ultra-precision machining. With the skilled strength of the 4th axis or the 5th axis installed on either existing production lines or machine centers, the targeted cutting processes is thus possible. In Taiwan, there are many index table suppliers gathering in the greater Taichung metalworking supply chain, offering both Taiwanese and foreign order requests, but we are different from them.
We have survived for nearly four decades, and over the years many rotary table makers established their businesses. I am confident that, GANRO, being the oldest table manufacturer in Taiwan holds the most advanced technology and solid experience in producing indexing tables. We make tables for machine tool suppliers and also to end users who have established production lines already, and also to those with urgent need of additional rotary tables for upgrading their existing production lines. In the ASEAN region, our rotary tables are purchased by many users from the automotive supplier chain for machining automotive parts with specific processing demands. In Mainland China, we assist many 3C suppliers in making high- precision small components because we are capable upgrading their manufacturing lines with attention to detail. We can help not only in terms of tables, but also production line planning.
In the European region, we also sell our rotary tables to suppliers in the automotive and aerospace sectors. With the many experiences accumulated through those cooperation, we are able to assist various production lines with their tables and technology.
IMNA: Can you give us some examples about how you were able to help customers improve their production.
Mr. Kuo: The GANRO TR-s series CNC tilting rotary table is a good example. This is sold to Japanese automotive manufacturers who have factories in Thailand and Indonesia. We support their existing machineries at their production lines to meet the latest order requests.
The TR-s series succeeded in helping ASEAN users smoothen manufacture processes in many factories. The maximal workload of TR-s series is of 200 kg. The repeatability (sec.) on TR-120S type is 8’’ (unidirectional) and 16’’ (bidirectional), promising rigid precision. On TR-320S type, the repeatability is 4’’ (unidirectional) and 8’’ (bidirectional). This table product enhances the efficiency of production lines by the many special features.
In addition, we are good at supporting machine tool manufacturers in the 5th axis construction. Our AR series CNC horizontal pallet rotary table is famous in the machine tool sector. The product adopts double lead worm shaft design as the crucial transmission mechanism. The double lead worm shafts have different lea, and lead angles on the right and left sides. The tooth space of our double lead worm shaft is between 0.005 mm and 0.01 mm, which is a high standard and we are the supplier who offer this accuracy as ordinary standard. The specification pushes the limit of micro-backlash. The max work load of AR series reaches to 650 kg, and the radial moment is 500 Kgf•m.
IMNA: Do you plan to further expand your presence in the ASEAN market?
Mr. Kuo: Yes indeed. The ASEAN is a place where our products fit into their growing industrial demands. As the region now also encounters labor issues, GANRO’s rotary tables can help deal with the automation needs. We can help people dealing with difficult processing procedures by planning their existing production lines of course with our long-term experience in table making technology. I’m positive that in the next ten years, we will have a good business.
