IN A NEW agreement, leading manufacturer of high-quality chocolate and cocoa products the Barry Callebaut Group will supply GarudaFood’s biscuit factory in Gresik (Province of East Java) with 10,000 tonnes per year, and expects to increase capacity over the next three years.
Part of the deal is for Barry Callebaut to establish operations at the Gresik factory while taking over some of the manufacturing equipment from GarudaFood, a major food and beverage manufacturer in Indonesia. Both companies will also hold joint R&D activities to develop products for the Indonesian market.
