Gebo Cermex is ready to release its latest beer bottle conveyor this coming March. First seen at drinktec 2013, the model has features that set new standards in conveying systems design.
The K110 guiding system has a guide rail with a low contact point (110mm) that favours maximum bottle stability. This profile height also prevents damage to labels. Whilst primarily for major glass bottle formats, the model can be adjusted to convey PET bottles and cans as well.

Made of 304 grade stainless steel, the conveyor is bendable on-site, a feature that allows manufacturers to customise installation according to the layout of their production floor. Additionally, the parts provide superior technical performance, Gebo said. The PEHD 1000 M-Slide plastic, for instance, ensures thermal and mechanical stability. As an added hygienic feature, the guide supports on the conveyor are free of threads. The leg design in particular, reduces fluid retention zones to ensure that lubrication water drains fast and efficiently. Moreover, its cross-triangulation construction enables optimised weight distribution.
