Global Food Industries introduces healthy ready meals

LAS VEGAS, Nevada - Global Food Industries introduces CAMP READY MEALS, a new line of shelf-stable, complete meals - made in the U.S.A.– that will be sampled at the Army Navy Military Expo (booth # 200 & 323).  The first 10 flavours are Southern-style BBQ Chicken, Hearty Beef Stew, Hearty Chicken Stew, Noodles and Chicken, Chili Mac, Beef Stroganoff with Noodles, Chicken a la King with Rice, Jambalaya, Sweet and Sour Rice with Chicken, and Cheesy Hamburger Mac.

The new product will be available in stores Spring 2014 and will have a suggested retail price of $5.99 for each two-serving pouch. GFI joined forces with ATLANCO^? and Major Surplus & Survival.

CAMP READY MEALS are a healthier version of camping meals currently available in the retail market since, as they are made with vegetable protein exclusively, they are lower in sodium and fat and contain no preservatives. With multi-year shelf life, the compact and lightweight two-serving pouches are easy to store and transport in a backpack. They are prepared in five minutes using only hot water.
