GPC promotes Kramer

Speciality starch producer Grain Processing Corporation (www.grainprocessing.com) said MIKE KRAMER (right) has been promoted to senior applications scientist for the Food, Pharmaceutical and Personal Care Technical Services group.
The company also announced appointments of ROB BOHANNON as a technical sales representative in the Food, Pharmaceutical, and Personal Care group, and BEN PORTER as an associate laboratory scientist in the Food, Pharmaceutical and Personal Care Technical Services group.
Mr Kramer received his Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science from Rutgers University and his Masters in Food Science from Pennsylvania State University. Prior to joining GPC in 1996, he worked in product development for Kraft Foods and Unilever in the soups, snacks, confections, sandwiches, and side dish areas.
Mr Bohannon is responsible for the sales of "Maltrin" maltodextrins and food starch products throughout a nine-state Southeast territory. He graduated from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia, and has six years of experience in the chemical distribution business, most recently with Brenntag, USA.
Mr Porter graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biotechnology. Before joining the company, Ben worked for BASF Plant Science Division in Raleigh, North Carolina.Nike Roshe
