Grovepoint invests in astaxanthin producer in Israel

The London-based private investment firm, Grovepoint will be acquiring a majority stake in Algatechnologies Ltd, a specialist in commercial microalgae cultivation and the manufacturer of AstaPure natural astaxanthin.

A potent antioxidant, astaxanthin has been proven beneficial in joint and muscle function, skincare, and cardiovascular health. Algatechnologies (its astaxanthin facility in photo) has developed proprietary technology which allows the production of the AstaPure line in a closed system, fully controlled and totally exposed to natural sunlight, making it a sustainable facility.
