Food & Beverage
The dedicated drinks show in Bangkok (BITEC, 31 Jan to 3 Feb) will benefit from growth prospects of the beverage industries in ASEAN

BANGKOKThailand is one of the most dynamic food and drink markets in the Asia-Pacific region. While the growth of alcoholic drinks is lagging, non-alcoholic drinks are picking up the slack. Carbonates are the most popular non-alcoholic beverage; however, growth in this category is slowing, allowing other non-alcoholic drink categories to grow. Bottled water is a very popular drink choice and its sales values already exceeds carbonates as consumers become more concerned with the effects of their sugar and caffeine-laden diets.

DRINK Technology Asia 2013 the dedicated drink technology section within FoodPack Asia 2013 organised by T.B.P. Publications will benefit from positive growth prospect of the Thai drink industry. The show will take place on 31 January – 3 February 2013 at BITEC in Bangkok, and features process technology for the production and processing of beverages, milk and liquid food both alcohol and non-alcohol drink.

Ms Pornanong Wongniphon, marketing director, T.B.P. Publications, said, “Following the successful run of FoodPack Asia, we recognised that there are growing demand for machinery and technology for drink sectors both for existing players and newcomers who search for the best solutions for their business.”

DRINK Technology Asia 2013 will be the meeting place for specialist from the soft-drink and fruit juice industry, mineral water suppliers, dairies, wine and champagne producers, distillers, breweries, distilleries from Thailand and ASEAN.

In addition to machinery, technology and solutions on the exhibition floor and new technology launches, ASEAN Food & Drink Conference will be another must attend event for industry professionals and specialists. Some of the industry’s most knowledgeable and experienced leaders will be sharing their expertise at a number of sessions at the two-day intensive conference.
