GSFC ventures for expansion of Nylon-6 Project

Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd. (GSFC), has decided to enhance the existing production capacity of its Nylon-6 engineering plastic to meet the requirement of engineering and film grade plastics. The project for additional 15,000 MTPY capacity will be set up at the company's Fertilizernagar Unit, Vadodara, Gujarat at an estimated cost of Rs.125 crore. Technology leader M./s Lurgi GmbH, Germanywill be providing technology, knowhow, basic design, supply of proprietary items and technical advisory services to GSFC. The agreement was signed between GSFC and M./s Lurgi GmbH, Germany at Corporate Office of GSFC, Fertilizernagar, Vadodara, Gujarat on 11 November 2011.
