At Gulfood 2014, Swiss companies will proudly showcase selected first-class products of interest to the retail trade, gastronomy and hotel industries at the Swiss Pavilion in the Trade Arena of the Sheikh Saeed Halls. Sixteen exhibitors – three more than last year – will set out their stalls to impress show visitors with a diverse and innovative range of products at the Gulfood 2014, which is to be held in Dubai from 23 - 27 February 2014. They will present the finest chocolate products, selected blends of coffee, natural foods and beverages as well as modern, state-of-the-art appliances for hotels and gastronomy.
Pure chocolate enjoyment
The Swiss Pavilion located in the Trade Arena of the Sheikh Saeed Halls at stand S-E4/S-F21 is organised by Switzerland Global Enterprise. Switzerland's leading chocolate maker will be present its broad selection of top quality couvertures, the finest fillings and chocolate chippings for the industrial, food and service sectors. The company has extended its popular Chocobloc range on offer to the retail sector. Now lovers of dark chocolate will be able to enjoy Dark 72% in addition to the existing varieties milk, Orange, Air, White and Dark. Selected cocoas are mixed with almonds, honey and nougat to create a harmonious taste experience. As is the case with all products on show, the new product will be produced in Switzerland. A further traditional Swiss company at this year's Gulfood will focus on its range of organic and Fairtrade quality chocolate bars. The family-run company has been active in the organic sector for more than 30 years, and has been able to build-up a wealth of know-how in that time. Selected raw materials, unique recipes and careful preparation form the basis for the harmonious flavours of their chocolates. Unadulterated Swiss enjoyment that indulges and seduces all of your senses – that is the philosophy that forms the basis of these chocolate specialities. Visitors will be able to discover the maker's product lines such as "Swiss Organic Chocolate".
Drink experience for all the senses
Another exhibitor will present the finest waffle specialities with diverse fillings covered in top quality, home-made Swiss chocolate. With its packaged and gift products, the company hopes to expand its market in the Middle East, and cultivate contacts with existing distribution partners as well as make contact with potential, new distribution partners. A well-known Swiss manufacturer of proprietary brands offers a sensuous drink experience created from the finest Swiss chocolate. The chocolate powder is soluble in both hot and cold milk to entice consumers with its fine, typical taste of Swiss chocolate. Available as white and dark chocolate drinks, this is a classic luxury product of sheer enjoyment made with real Swiss milk chocolate as well as the varieties Noir and Blanc.
