Gulfood Manufacturing: Basket/crate washer from IWM

IT CAN take a day for one operator to wash 200 crates of fruit or vegetable. But with a small basket/crate washer such as the T200 from Industrial Washing Machines Limited (IWM), it can only take only about an hour. This new model has powerful pumps that spray high-pressure hot water jets, removing tough and sticky residues from dates and vegetables. 

The energy-efficient design features sustained jetting with hot water, re-circulated from a heated wash tank; it also maximises detergent use.  Smaller than usual washers, the T200 is suitable for use in areas with minimal space as well as for requirements of low or intermitted output. It can accommodate up from 50 to 200 trays, crates or boxes of about 600mm wide and 400mm high, per hour.

IWM will be co-located at the show with Syspal, designer and manufacturer of aluminium and stainless steel equipment.
